Pricing on injectables is individual and based on assessment of the area being treated.
Treatments are performed by Nurse April Marechal, RPN and authorized by prescriber Kim MacPherson, NP. An in-depth consultation is required to determine whether you are a suitable candidate for treatment.

Neuromodulators
Neuromodulator treatments are used to temporarily reduce the activity of targeted muscles, with treatment plans individualized according to your anatomy, goals and clinical assessment.
At Mudita, treatment is individualized to your anatomy, facial movement and aesthetic goals. Our approach is focused on subtle, balanced and natural-looking outcomes rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Some neuromodulator treatments may also be considered for concerns involving increased muscle activity or other clinical indications. Suitability is determined through individual assessment and clinical consultation.

Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating) -
If excessive sweating is affecting your quality of life, an assessment can help determine whether treatment options available through our clinic may be appropriate.
Masseter /Jaw Treatment -
Targeted treatment of the masseter muscles may be considered for individuals experiencing increased muscle activity associated with jaw clenching or grinding. A clinical assessment is required to determine whether treatment is appropriate.
Migraine/Headache Assessment
Individuals experiencing recurrent headaches may be appropriate for a clinical assessment to determine whether treatment options available through our practice may be appropriate. Basic treatment parameters can be offered in clinic, and referral made for more advanced treatment to our Nurse Practitioner.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that may be used to restore or enhance facial volume, soften the appearance of selected lines and folds, and support facial contour and proportion.
At Mudita Medical Aesthetics, filler treatments are individualized to your anatomy, facial proportions and aesthetic goals. Our approach is conservative and focused on maintaining balance and natural-looking results rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Every filler treatment begins with an individualized consultation. We review your goals, medical history, previous aesthetic treatments and facial anatomy before determining whether filler is appropriate and developing a treatment plan.
The amount and type of product used varies between individuals and is determined based on the treatment area and clinical assessment.
Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve the appearance and overall quality of the skin without significantly changing facial structure or adding traditional volumizing filler.
Depending on the product selected, treatment may be used to support skin hydration and improve the appearance of skin texture, smoothness and radiance.
Skin boosters can be considered for areas such as the face, neck, décolleté and hands. Treatment is individualized based on your skin, treatment goals and the product best suited to your needs.
Results and longevity vary between individuals and depend on the product used, treatment area and individual response
Baby Glow (Teoxane Redensity-1®)
A specialized skin booster designed to improve skin quality, hydration, and luminosity while also supporting overall skin health. In addition to hyaluronic acid, it contains a unique blend of amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamin B6 to nourish the skin and enhance its natural glow. It is well suited to skin that appears dull, dehydrated or uneven, and may help improve the appearance of fine lines while supporting a smoother, brighter and more luminous-looking complexion over time.
Biostimulators (Sculptra® & Radiesse® ) – Gradual. Individualized. Designed to support facial structure and skin quality.
Biostimulator treatments are injectable treatment that may be considered when the goal is to improve aspects of skin quality, firmness or facial contour
Rather than focusing solely on immediate volume, these treatments are incorporated into an individualized treatment plan based on your anatomy, treatment goals and clinical assessment.
Sculptra®
Sculptra® takes a gradual approach to facial rejuvenation. Rather than simply adding volume, it works by stimulating collagen production to support the gradual restoration of facial volume and structure.
Treatment is designed to create subtle, progressive changes rather than an immediate transformation. Your treatment plan is individualized according to your facial anatomy, degree of volume loss and aesthetic goals, with results developing gradually over time.
Radiesse®
Radiesse® offers a unique approach to facial rejuvenation, combining its immediate volumizing effect with collagen-stimulating properties.
It can be used strategically in selected areas to enhance facial contour, provide structural support and improve the appearance of skin quality. Rather than approaching treatment as simply adding volume, we consider the underlying facial structure and how treatment can complement your natural anatomy.
Treatment is individualized to your facial structure, aesthetic goals and the areas being treated.
Biostimulator treatments are highly individualized. The number of sessions and amount of product required varies according to treatment area, anatomy, previous treatment history and individual goals.
During your consultation, we will determine whether a biostimulator is appropriate and which treatment approach best aligns with your needs.
Biostimulator treatments are not intended to create a standardized result. Changes develop progressively and individual responses vary.

Vitamin B-12 Injections
Vitamin B12 is an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in normal red blood cell formation, neurological function and cellular metabolism.
At Mudita, vitamin B12 injections may be considered for individuals where supplementation is appropriate based on their individual circumstances. A consultation helps determine whether B12 supplementation is appropriate and whether additional assessment or laboratory testing may be recommended.
Frequency and ongoing supplementation are individualized rather than based on a standard schedule.

Advanced Skin Treatments for Fine Lines, Pigmentation & Radiance
Tixel C ® - Skin Resurfacing
Tixel® is a non-laser skin resurfacing treatment that uses controlled thermal energy to create a targeted treatment response at the skin's surface. It can be used to improve the appearance of skin texture and tone, including the appearance of fine lines, uneven pigmentation and other visible signs of skin aging.
Specialized Periorbital Treatment
Mudita also offers the dedicated Tixel® Periorbital Handpiece, specifically designed for treatment around the delicate eye area. This allows treatment to be tailored to the unique anatomy and skin characteristics of the periorbital region.
Tixel® may be used around the eyes as part of a customized treatment plan, including areas where fine lines, texture and other visible signs of skin aging are a concern.
Treatment intensity is customized according to the area being treated, your skin and your individual goals. Tixel® can be used on areas such as the face, around the eyes, neck and décolleté.
Downtime and treatment response vary depending on treatment intensity and individual factors. A series of treatments may be recommended depending on your goals and the area being treated.

DP4 Microneedling
Advanced microneedling for smoother, more refined-looking skin.
DP4™ Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses controlled micro-injuries to create a targeted treatment response within the skin.
It may be used to improve the appearance of skin texture, fine lines, uneven tone and the appearance of acne scarring. Treatment can be customized to different areas of the face and body according to your skin, concerns and treatment goals.
Treatment depth and intensity are individualized based on the area being treated and your skin's characteristics.
A series of treatments may be recommended depending on your individual goals and response to treatment.

IPL Lumecca™ Photofacial
Lumecca™ is an intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that uses targeted light energy to address selected pigmentation and vascular concerns in the skin.
Depending on your individual skin and treatment goals, Lumecca™ may be used to improve the appearance of sun-related pigmentation, age spots, freckles, redness and visible vascular concerns.
Treatment parameters are customized according to your skin type, the area being treated and the concerns being addressed. Lumecca™ can be used on areas such as the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
Some changes may be noticeable following an initial treatment, while a series of treatments may be recommended depending on your individual goals and response to treatment.

Forma-I™ RF Skin Rejuvenation
Gentle radiofrequency treatment for the delicate eye area.
Forma-I™ is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment designed specifically for the eye area. It delivers controlled thermal energy to the tissue around the eyes as part of a customized approach to skin rejuvenation.
Treatment may be used to improve the appearance of fine lines, skin texture and visible signs of skin laxity around the eye area.
Treatment settings are tailored to the individual, including the treatment area, skin characteristics and desired outcome. A series of treatments may be recommended depending on your goals and response.

Dry Eye Treatments

Mudita Medical Aesthetics is proud to support Ottawa Valley Vision in their dry eye treatment services.
Dry eye assessments and treatment planning are provided through the Ottawa Valley Vision team. Where appropriate, clients may also have the option to add aesthetic treatment areas to their visit, such as the full face or selected body areas, based on their individual goals and treatment plan.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and schedules can change. To provide the best service for all of our clients, we kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, will be subject to a $60.00 fee. This policy ensures that we can accommodate other clients and maintain the high standard of care you expect from Mudita Medical Aesthetics.
